Ugandan lawmaker Bobi Wine is in Kenya.
Bobi Wine, who is the Member of Parliament for Kyadondo East, touches down at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi at 6pm Wednesday, October 10.
The legislator will be interviewed on Citizen Television’s Jeff Koinange Live later in the night.
Bobi Wine is in the country, courtesy of Kenya’s young Parliamentarians led by Embakasi East MP Babu Owino.
Mr Owino claims the Ugandan lawmaker will stay in Kenya for five days, as they chart a way forward for the region’s youthful MPs.
The musician-turned-politician was supposed to jet into the country on Thursday, October 11, but changed his plans, opting to travel a day earlier.
Last month, Bobi Wine, whose real name is Robert Kyagulanyi, hogged media headlines, when he was arrested, freed, and re-arrested before being released on bail on suspicion of causing chaos, which affected the convoy of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni.
The camp of Bobi Wine, affiliated to the Opposition, and that of President Museveni clashed in Arua District during a campaign trail for a by-election in the area.
