A 22-year-old man from Ngong in Kajiado County has been arrested after he was found housing a Form Two girl believed to be his girlfriend.
Neighbours say they have been seeing the girl, 16, at the man’s house during the day for the past one month.
Area Chief George Kimemia says the two were arrested after neighbours reported the incident to him.
The girl, who studies at Kibiku Day Secondary school, has allegedly been lying to her parents that she’s been going to school, only to take a different route to her boyfriend’s place.
“She’s been showing up at her boyfriend’s place while dressed in school uniform before changing into civilian attire. When evening reaches, she changes into her school uniform and returns back home. This has been going on for the past one month,” said Mr Kimemia.
The male suspect is a milk trader in Ngong.
The two will be arraigned in court on Wednesday, March 14.
