Gospel singer Mr Seed officially off the market!

Kenyan Gospel singer Mr Seed has bounced back from a recent scandal and is now officially off the market!

The ‘Simama’ hitmaker on Saturday officially paid dowry for his longtime lover Nimo Gachuiri and the couple is now set for a formal wedding.

The dowry payment ceremony, commonly known as ‘ruracio’ among the Kikuyu community, was held at Ms. Gachuiri’s parents’ home in Kasarani.

Ms. Gachuiri and a hot of other women were covered in lesos and Mr. Seed tasked with picking his bride-to-be; upon which, if he chose the wrong one, according to Kikuyu tradition, he would have been subjected to a fine.

Taking to social media after the ceremony, Ms. Gachuiri thanked Mr Seed for “making me a happy woman,” adding that “I love you so much words cannot explain.”

The singer, on his part, expressed gratitude to his now wife-to-be for sticking with him through both his bad as well as good times.

“I treasure you and value you a lot and that’s why I decided the whole world to know that I’m ready to spend the whole time of my life with you.And again thanks for giving me a handsome baby boy,” he wrote.

The lovebirds got engaged in February 2018 during their Valentines Day getaway and have since sired a son, Gold Christen Omondi.
